When I blog I listen to music at the same time. Music helps to get my creativity flowing. Music makes me feel free. I suggest that all of you to start listening music when you blog. Even try listening to music while getting dress will help you pick new innovative and creative looks. I am talking from experience. I always listen to music while blogging and dressing!! Most rappers and singers talk about fashion designers and brands. For example An all girl group called OMG Girlz have a song called Gucci Everything. Music influences the way people dress. Music and Fashion both show and express a message to the world. I found some interesting research on how music and fashion relate “The link between fashion and music has gone hand in hand since the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods which, along with its characteristic church music, represent the elegant look as being somewhat pale and bloated.
Music is associated with fashion. Take, for example, different genres of music such as rock, pop, punk, or classic. Many examples can be found at various periods over the years: Fashion under the influence of rock that came from the biker culture, with bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Alice Cooper, and others, was characterized by street fashion, such as a leather jacket over a simple T- shirt, and torn jeans with decorative studs. Fashion under the influence of punk was characterized by wearing military boots and coats, scads of safety pins holding together a torn T-shirt , and rings topped off with a dyed Mohawk hairstyle,, in an act of protest against the establishment and society. Fashion under the influence of pop in the eighties was influenced by singers and bands such as Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, George Michael, a-ha, etc, which instituted a new dress code such as leggings, a skirt over a pair of seven-eighths, deliberately torn T-shirts, ribbons, and multiple bracelets and necklaces.”
